Prayers and Blessings

Fond du Lac had a very sad day last Sunday. We lost a Fond du Lac Police officer. He was responding to a call at a house and was shot. My prayers go out to the officer's wife and family. Such a senseless tragedy. Adam attended the memorial service Wednesday with some of his fellow officers.

I count my blessings every day when Adam comes home safe.

Adam was in training all this week so it was extra nice to have him at home every evening. Adam's parents came out for part of the week to watch William and Pam cooked up some yummy food. Thanks G'ma and G'pa S for all your help!

My Blessings...

Catch up

After a weekend away last week I still feel like we are playing catch up on time. Maybe it was the loss of a hour that is still bugging me. Who knows.

We had a great time in MN visiting family, we went to the zoo and to the history center. William's favorite was splashing in the water at the sting rays area at the zoo. We had to do a lot of convincing to pull him away.

William so cute in his St. Patty's Day shirt!

Playing around the house today.

And lastly a funny face I couldn't resist.

Cleaning, Cousins, and a digger

William had a fun visit from his cousins Keegan (green shirt) and Declan (red stripes) and his Uncle Dan and Aunt Brea.

Enjoying some cottage cheese, yummy and O' so messy!

Helping clean the house, William decided he was in charge of Swifting the wood floors, and even tried it on the carpet, but it is much harder to pull.

Will took a digger at daycare on Monday. He was climbing down from a little platform they have to look out over the room and fell into a little stool. Hugs and mini ice packs (frozen mustard packets) were dispensed. He looks like such a tough guy (well maybe if he took his fingers out of his mouth!).

Will found an apple in my lunch bag and was admiring it, so I turned my back and was getting supper ready only to find him chomping down on the apple. Pretty soon he had a whole mouth full and I have to take it away so he could chew what he had in his mouth.

We are off to Minnesota tomorrow to visit family. It is so nice to start a weekend early!

Action!

William is an active little guy and not as easy to photograph as he used to be when stationary, so Murphy posed for me.

He is getting more confidence with walking that sometimes he walks with his little hands behind his back. Adam calls it his Army Field Marshal pose, it is too cute.

William is understanding so much and his favorite thing to do is read books and point out things. His favorite point out objects are teddy bears, frogs, balloons, clowns, butterflies, birds and the moon.

William is a pretty good little boy, when found doing something that is not allowed (like pulling on plant leaves) he takes re-direction pretty well. The only thing we need to work on right now is him feeding the dog or throwing food down from his high chair. We say no, but he just smiles back, so we take his food away and he is either okay with it because he is full, or throws a fit to end all fits and takes the rest of the evening to fully get over it. Sometimes Murphy gets put away to lessen the temptation, but that doesn't always work either.
