Random August Memories

Random pictures from August, mostly from my phone (not the best quality photos, but the subjects make up for it).

We hauled our bikes and William's Burley up to the cabin, we got William out once and I went out on a couple other rides with my Mom. Here were are 1/2 way on Paul Bunyan Trail (very hilly, but I convinced my Mom to try it).

Visiting the Elementary School up in Minnesota to check out their playground, and you guessed it, throw away the wood chips in the garbage.

And from today at lunch, William polished of his lunch with a container of chocolate pudding, and it was so good we had to get every last glob out of the cup, too bad most of it went on his face!

Up North Again

Okay so back wards in time, starting with today. Our friends Suzy and Julianna surprised us today by being in town to watch the race around the lake (Ryan was riding), which is 90 miles around the lake. So we met at the park area, checked out the barnyard animals, swung, slid, and rode the choo-choo train. Fun times!





We had a ton of fun up at the cabin, wading, swimming, riding bikes, playing outside, picking wild raspberries and blackberries and the list goes on.

Giving Grandma S the eye. Adam's parents came up for a visit and stayed at the casino in town for two nights. Nice pool there, but man do casinos stink of smoke!

William hopped up in his car seat one day and just wanted to chill in there for a while. Funny little guy.

Helping Daddy wash the car, a tradition at the cabin. Even Grandpa's red truck got a wash and boy did it shine afterwards.

Grandpa and William

Hanging out on the driveway, it was cold in June, hence the long sleeves and pants. But you can still blow bubbles in the cold!

On a rainy day we drove to Bemiji and checked out Target and a museum in the old rail way depot. I just love Will's thumbs up and silly smile.

It's sad to think it will be many months till summer comes around next year so we can visit the cabin again. Thanks for a wonderful time Grandma and Grandpa!
