15 Month Stats Finally

Okay so we have been busy. So here are William's Stats: 26lb (75%) and 33" (95%). Still not talking much so a birth-3 county worker is going to visit us to evaluate Will. I am sure things are fine, he is just a little slower to do most things, like crawl, walk, etc. So I am sure talking is the same.

I had an awesome girls weekend in Wisconsin Dells, we had pedicures, massages, shopped, bowled, and I ate way too much. Here is a picture from the Spa's infinity pool outside. It was so neat to swim around with snow falling on your head. A big thank you to my In-laws and Adam for making this possible for me and taking such great care of William!

Adam is home for the weekend so we plan to have some family fun, despite the fact that William is running another fever. Otherwise he seems fine, so we might do some shopping, or go to a museum. Have a great weekend everyone!

15 Months

William is starting to feel better, but did catch another cold. So now we are back to a runny nose and cough, but no fever. When will the cold and flu season end!

Thankfully it doesn't seem to be hampering his growth as he seems to be getting taller and fitting better into the larger sizes. He is comfortably fitting into 18 mo pants and 24-2T shirts. At our recent doctor's appointments he weighed 26lb 11oz. He goes in tomorrow for his 15 month appointment, so we will get the official stats then.

So what is William up to at 15 Months old. He can walk pretty well, and is starting to walk less on his tippy-toes. He is understanding so much more, he knows "downstairs", "give a kiss", "give a hug", "breakfast time". His only word still is Momma, which still means "I want" sometimes it sounds like "more" but I can't be sure.

He still loves to read and loves his flip books, and when he doesn't want to read a particular book, he lets you know with a quick closing of the cover and some waving hands. He has just started to take more of an interest in some of his Christmas toys, his wagon and his horsey.

He is starting to use silverware. He is pretty good with a fork, but still needs work on his spoon skills. He is still a good eater and loves his fruit.

Posing before church today (thanks Julianna for the fancy clothes). He was very good throughout the service, books and goldfish seemed to do the trick.

He got sleepy on the way home from church and fell asleep in Daddy's arms for a little while after we got home.

Pictures from yesterday, big man at the computer just like Daddy.

Reading with Grandpa.
Video of him pushing his wagon.

Fever gone, but still not himself

William's fever broke finally on Friday evening, he definitely had us concerned as he hasn't been this sick before. He is still not himself, very fussy, wants Momma all the time and still very tired. And he fell asleep on me a couple of times during the weekend at non-nap times.

Hopefully he does okay with Adam tomorrow morning and then at daycare after. Pictures of the little sick guy.

The changing table is evil...

Well at least that's what William thinks. He has had a fever since Tuesday night and the changing table has been the site for medicine and temperature taking, both which he does not enjoy. We ended up taking him into the Urgent Care on Wednesday night as his fever was in the 104's, and he was a little lump in our arms. They poked, prodded and took x-rays of him but found nothing conclusive.

Negative for influenza, strep throat, lungs look clear so no pneumonia. One doctor said his ears look clear, one said there was some redness in one ear. So they gave him a shot of antibiotic and then oral antibiotics for the next couple days. So it is either viral, an ear infection, or mono according to the doctors.

He has been a sleepy boy, sleeping till 7:30 or 8am in the morning and taking long naps. He is also very clingy and cuddly, which I have to admit I enjoy unless I am trying to get dressed or go to the bathroom.

Hopefully he starts feeling better this weekend.
