Yep!

Having fun with the cooler wagon this week.  Makes a great hid away.

Helping Mom make the beds, they have to be pounced after each removal and addition of a layer.

William's affirmative preference has changed this week.  It used to be um-hm (which is difficult to distinguish from uh-uh, for no) now everything is yep.  It's pretty funny as it is delivered in a very up beat tone.

Adam is headed out to three days of training and G&G S are coming for a visit, so William is excited.  He is also very excited to turn 4 soon.  I keep encouraging his behavior with "I can really tell you are going to be 4 soon" and then watch him puff up his chest proud that he can do so much more.

We are getting stuff set for a fun digger/construction themed party.  Should be a fun time for those who can join us.

Have a great week.

Updated with Halloween Pics

Hiding in the garage because he didn't like the post man pants!

Pants removed and a successful Trick-or-Treat session ensued.  Silly boy!

Anticipating handing out candy, the kids weren't even up the drive way before he would open the door.

Keeping a close eye out for the next group of kids.

Fall Clean up

Fall clean up and making the most of our remaining time outside.  We got a ton done yesterday morning and afternoon.  The house is just about in order for fall.  Now we just have to rake when the silly hickory trees decide to drop their leaves!

William found this cooler in our attic and decided it would be the perfect stick-picking-up wagon.  It is now making deliveries inside the house both on the basement floor and the main floor!

Beating Momma to the corner and back.  Think he beat me four times.  I really had to run to get in front to snap a quick picture.

We are excited for Halloween in our town tonight.  William is going as a mail man and has prepared letters to deliver in exchange for his candy.  Pictures to follow later.

Catching up

Long time no blog...

Playdough at G&G Mc's House

Spiffed up for my cousins wedding.

The three highly mobile cousins at the zoo.

Helping Grandpa Mc open his birthday presents one tiny piece of paper at a time.  Then each little piece had to be put in the diaper genie that had to be hauled up from the basement.  Where does this little guy think this stuff up?

Pulling up his full weight with his arms at the children's museum.

Monitoring Grandpa during a building session.

A couple photos from the Air Museum from a couple weeks ago.

Fall color and pictures up at the cabin in mid October.

Campfire pictures at night, pretty cool looking.

Stars (the big dipper)

Pictures from my morning run along the trail.

Sorry No Pictures

I haven't taken much pictures this past two weeks because we were pretty busy.  Last weekend William and I headed to Minnesota for my cousin Chris's wedding.  It was fun, William had a great time playing with his second cousin Kylee (the flower girl) before and after the ceremony.  He danced his heart out with the bride, Amanda, and Kylee.

This past week was busy for the us, Adam was off at Volk Field for some training later in the week, and I had a big test and presentation for a certification at work.  Hopefully I passed so that the week long trip to Boscobel WI in June and the team I have been putting extra time in at work was for something.

Funny William and Adam sayings for the last couple months...

"Little caterpillars shouldn't fart in their cocoons", said Adam as William stunk up his "cocoon", which is really a sleeping bag, pretending to be a caterpillar changing into a butterfly before bed time.

"Maybe his middle name is Carnivorous", said William about his Great Great Great Grandfather he is named after.  We said that he had the same first and last name, but that we thought the middle name wasn't the same.  Adam and I said maybe it was Carnivorous, but we didn't think so.

"Only boys can go to the park by the lake", said William today.  So I stayed home and cooked dinner.  It is amazing how smooth that goes with no "help", I had dinner on the table and the dishes washed before they even got home.

William keeps talking about a boy as school named Greece.  We thought that was a really strange name so we kept asking him if it was Louis and kept getting no.  Finally we looked on the Leader day calendar and saw Reese.  Apparently his teacher Julienne also had trouble understanding until William went over an pointed to Reese in his class.  Not sure if it is normal speech development or if a speech pathologist is in our future.

Have a good week, hopefully more pictures next time.

Quarry Fun

Headed out to the quarry with Grandpa and Grandma S for some digger fun!

William loved the slingshot, but we need to work on overhand throws!

One of his digger books, say's "See how it stretches and scoops", living out the story!

Climbing the 30ft sand hill.

Big wheel race, need some practice.  I think there might be a big wheel in William's future.

Relaxing eating lunch on a BIG rock.

And our last fun, a dump truck ride.
