The groomers felt so bad, but they took care of everything for us and brought a messy and stressed out dog home. He has since recovered, but now goes into a fit of shakes if you happen to say "hair cut" while in the car as I found out when I took William for a haircut this weekend. So I think he is a bit traumatized, we might have to let his hair grow out for a long while before stressing him out again.
Other than that we had a normal week around here. William is getting better at telling us when he needs to go the bathroom, most of the time it is after we prompt him with the question, then he tells us he has to go, but progress is progress and I will take it.
My little guy now stretches from one end of the tub to the other, Adam caught some bath shots as he was trying to round up all his bath friends.
Will rode around on Daddy's shoulders one night, up and down the hallway, up and down the stairs, till Daddy's shoulders and back couldn't take it any more.
Snow, snow and more snow. We bundled up and headed out yesterday morning to shovel and hoe the snow. A couple day ago while Adam was hurling choice epitaphs at the snow blower for clogging and not working, he grabbed the hoe to clean out the snow lodged chute. William then decided that the hoe was much more fun to play with than the little red shovel he has. So now we adults go out with the snow shovels and William hoes the snow. Our neighbor said we were getting him ready to garden this spring... yeah let's go with that thought.
The umbrella stroller is now called the "boogie car". Don't ask me why, we just go with it. He loves to sit in there and get pushed around. But don't move the boogie car until he is firmly strapped in or you will get a scolding, safety first.
The other morning he even wanted to sit in it to eat his breakfast at his little table, I went with it and might try it again because he actually ate his breakfast in less than 30 minutes!

Today William has been a bit morose and fragile, he has said a couple of times that he doesn't want to turn into a bug. I didn't know what to make of it at first, but after lunch he said it and started crying. I then figured out that he must of had a bad dream last night about turning into a bug. Adam and I comforted him and told him it was just a dream and we wouldn't let him to turn into a bug. The canopy above his bed was taken down to make him feel better for his nap. He has been quiet so far during nap, so hopefully no more dreams about bugs.
William loves having visitors, especially his grandparents and has been talking every day about how his grandparents are coming to visit again. Three more weeks, doesn't translate well with toddlers, but Grandma and Grandpa know that he looks forward to your next visits! Both Grandparents are visiting Florida this month. Enjoy the warm weather, wish we were going with you!
