Hopefully he does okay with Adam tomorrow morning and then at daycare after. Pictures of the little sick guy.

Fever gone, but still not himself
William's fever broke finally on Friday evening, he definitely had us concerned as he hasn't been this sick before. He is still not himself, very fussy, wants Momma all the time and still very tired. And he fell asleep on me a couple of times during the weekend at non-nap times.
Hopefully he does okay with Adam tomorrow morning and then at daycare after. Pictures of the little sick guy.

The changing table is evil...
Well at least that's what William thinks. He has had a fever since Tuesday night and the changing table has been the site for medicine and temperature taking, both which he does not enjoy. We ended up taking him into the Urgent Care on Wednesday night as his fever was in the 104's, and he was a little lump in our arms. They poked, prodded and took x-rays of him but found nothing conclusive.
Negative for influenza, strep throat, lungs look clear so no pneumonia. One doctor said his ears look clear, one said there was some redness in one ear. So they gave him a shot of antibiotic and then oral antibiotics for the next couple days. So it is either viral, an ear infection, or mono according to the doctors.
He has been a sleepy boy, sleeping till 7:30 or 8am in the morning and taking long naps. He is also very clingy and cuddly, which I have to admit I enjoy unless I am trying to get dressed or go to the bathroom.
Hopefully he starts feeling better this weekend.

First Prescription
William came down with pink eye on Tuesday. Will and I spent the evening at the Urgent Care doctors office, and got some eye drops. He then stayed home with Adam on Wednesday morning and I spent the afternoon with him. Before I got home he fell asleep on the floor and Adam took some pictures of the little sleeping angel. Thankfully his eye now looks a lot better and he is back to himself.

Teething???
We don't know what exactly is going on, but my guess is teething. William has been his calm happy self till today, then we went through 3 inconsolable crying spells. The only thing that seemed to help was Tylenol or Advil, thank goodness for that! His top molars are almost all the way through the gums, so hopefully this spell goes away, as quickly as it came.
William is walking a lot more, he just bent over picked up a ball and went back to walking for the first time tonight. So I think he will be doing away with crawling all together pretty soon. I hadn't got the camera out much last week, so I took a bunch tonight as he ran around on Tylenol, hence the smiles.
Murphy and William have their moments together, but all in all they seem to be coexisting pretty well in the same space.

14 Months and ....
Walking! Well just for short spurts and with a little help getting started.
And William is getting more inquisitive. Adam left him alone for just a minute and came back to this...

And another time he got into the dirt in one of our plants. So further baby proofing looks to be in our future.
Daddy building a super castle (I think he might like the building blocks better than William does). Each super castle is different and doesn't last long after it is spotted by Williamzilla.
PJ pictures, I just couldn't help myself. That little butt and feet in PJ's are so cute!

Have a great weekend and week!

Hodgpodge
Getting William's hair cut by a professional. The pictures give away the fact that he did not like it one bit. They tried tempting him with stickers, cars, etc, but he wouldn't have any of it.

Daddy and William re-organizing the Tupperware cabinet, we will see how long it lasts!

William seems like he would be capable of walking on his own, but lacks the confidence. We were trying to break him of his finger crutch when walking. It worked great for a week and now when ever we try to hold his shirt instead of his fingers, he collapses down and will have no part of it.
William also has three new teeth coming in, his top two one year molars are coming in as well as the last of his four bottom front teeth. This probably explains some of the poor sleep nights we have had around here in the last week.

Happy 2011
Wow it's hard to believe another year is come and gone. 2010 was a fun year watching William grow up into a lovable little boy. It will be so fun to see how he changes in 2011. As my Mom says, odd years are good for Adam and I as we got married and had William in odd numbered years, so we will see what 2011 holds.
We had Adam's parents out for Christmas and had a lot of fun. William appreciated having all the fingers available for taking on a walk around the house. Another good Christmas and good food, making Apple Strudel has become a tradition with Pam and I. This year we took a quicker approach and used philo dough. A lot faster and still as good, yum.

William checking out and riding in his little wagon. He hasn't embraced pushing it around himself, which was why we bought it. Maybe someday.
