Fun, Fun, Fun

We have been having a lot of fun with this beautiful weather. Trips to the park, to the apple orchard, etc. If only it would last until Christmas, snow for Christmas and January then be back to spring. I don't think it will happen that way, so we are making the most of the weather while it is here.

We were at the mall the other weekend and walked through the antiques shop in the mall. I found the exact style dresser I was looking for to put in our spare bedroom. My parents had given me one that was similar to this, and it is in Will's room and has been the perfect size for his changing table and clothes. This one is a little taller with more drawers, but has the same simple design I like. And it fit perfectly under the shelf that my wonderful Grandfather made me years ago.

We have made quite a few trips to the park lately and William has gotten more into the slides and less into the garbage (still a couple trips, but not the whole time we are there). Checking out the tennis courts and running far away from Momma. It was the farthest I think I have let him be from me while I am watching him.

Clowning around with Daddy.

William and I went on a nature walk yesterday afternoon. There is a nice pond and walk way right by his daycare. We saw caterpillars, grasshoppers, geese, ducks, birds and had fun collecting wild flowers, pine cones, pine needles, and milk weed pods. It was a bit like herding a cat on a path, but we made it 1/4 away around the pond and then back to the car. Will only got tired the last 50 feet or so to the car, so perfect for me.Big boy on the slide all by himself!

Only shot I could get of him sitting still by the Mommy, Daddy and William pumpkins. I am on the look out for a small white gourd for Murphy, but haven't found one yet.

Getting out the broom and dust pan to sweep the hickory nuts. Our back yard is crazy covered in them. You feel like you are walking on marbles.

Silly William and his William pumpkin.

This morning we went to the Little Farmer for 50 minutes (all Adam could handle as it was busy as soon as it opened). Will had a good time picking apples, playing the the hay and corn play area, and feeding the goats. We will have to come again soon with the grandparents, and maybe we will leave Dad at home :)
