William is a good navigator. He tells us where to go saying "That way" and pointing to get us to the correct destination. As well as pointing out landmarks along the way: the water tower, the road to daycare, the grocery store. He also ask the stoplights to "turn green please" when we are waiting on a red. Then after they turn green he says "thank you stoplight, I welcome".
Night time is starting to have a strict protocol. We brush teeth, turn on the fan (yes Suzy we still have it), read 5-6 books, get two books to put in bed, kiss and hug Momma and Daddy and then he has to say goodbye. And if you leave before the official goodbye, your presence is demanded back to the room to return the goodbye. He then talks to himself for 15-30minutes before succumbing to sleep. It is so funny to listen to him talking about the days events, or talking to his fellow crib friends (Perry the Penguin, Ducky, Froggie blanket, Blue Bear blanket, occasionally other random stuff: a ball, another teddy bear, bobby pins, or a bath squirt toy).
Going home from somewhere in the car now takes longer, because when we get home William needs to play in the car. He climbs into the driver seat, puts on the seat belt and "drives". Then all the buttons need to be pushed, the compartments opened and closed. The hazard lights are the most fun, as well as the garage door button. Our neighbors probably wonder what is going on with the hazards going off and the garage door going up and down!
William performing Ba Ba Black Sheep, pretty good if you ask me!
We are having a nice weekend with Daddy home, and looking forward to a visit from G&G Mc next weekend!
