Down on the farm

William is watching the birds in the bird bath down below.
We headed to Mulberry Lane farm on Saturday to milk cows, ride ponies, catch chickens and pet goats...

William's favorite was riding in the hay wagon behind the tractor, farmer Pat went fast and over some bumps.  William was smiling from ear to ear and wanted to go again!

Climbing through the old trunks on the farm.  It was a fun time, but Momma forgot sunscreen so I got burnt and William got tan, he's got Adam's skin for sure!

William quotes from the week:

"Daddy I can't get the flash cards to flash"

"Popsicles make me brave!"

Mornings have become a real challenge for us.  William is so negative, then changes his mind constantly on what he wants for breakfast, doesn't want to get dressed, go to the bathroom or to daycare.  I just have to keep finding exciting ideas for him to keep him moving through our routine, luckily most day care week themes help.  This week is dinosaurs.  It is a really mental challenge for me, as I don't think that fast in the morning.  Some how we manage to get dressed, brushed, feed (between home and daycare), and get to daycare at a reasonably late time.

Yesterday we got the rest of our veggies and herbs in the ground and planted our window boxes.  So planting is now complete.  Weeding and watering can now consume our time!
