Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day out there to all the people who have made me the mother I am today...

My Mother for raising and teaching, for letting me experiment through the years, and always there to watch out and worry for me.

My Mother-in-law for raising a wonderful man who is my sanity.

My Husband for helping me to raise a wonderful little boy who constantly lights up my heart.

My son for teaching me how much our mothers' did for us, and letting me be his best friend (at least for now).  Also for giving me a chance to slow down in life and just play!

My friends and mentors who helped me through those early tough sleepless months letting me know it wouldn't always be that way, who always give me good advice, and foreshadow what I can expect in the next 6 months to come.

My Grandparents living and dead, that endured tough times and have taught me so much about how to fend for myself, bake and sew, the importance of education, and a can-do/give-it-a-try attitude.

I love you all so very much!

William's Witticisms for the Week:

"Daddy must really love me, he gave me some cheese and bread!"

"Mommy, see my too-tat" - He picked out a tattoo from the surprise box at daycare for good behavior checks.  We stuck it on his arm and he was so proud he had a too-tat just like Daddy... well until he scratched it off.

"Mommy that worm should have gone wiggle, wiggle, wiggle faster", while wiggling his whole body to demonstrate how the crusty dried worm on the sidewalk could have got out of his predicament if he had only followed William's advice.

"I treat you how you want to be treated" - William's interpretation of the golden rule.

"Don't tell me what to do!", oh yes this phrase has been showing up from time to time.

Enjoying the nice weather between freezing cold days.

Out for a family walk.

We became members today to the EAA museum since we are there at least once a month!

The rocket bottle Will launched to the ceiling and stayed there for a while before it gradually worked its way down.
