Gotta love corn!

We have been enjoying and eating our veggies and fruit from our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Last box had tons of stuff and one of our favorites was corn on the cob. William helped me out with the husking and had no problem digging in on his ear of corn!





"Brown Puppy" has become a favorite around our house, we have to sleep with it and our bear lovey. We even take it into the bathroom to get it's teeth brushed when William gets his brushed. This brown puppy is pretty old (well as old as me anyways), it is a brown brown bean bag dog with what used to be white ears and has a round black nose.

The story goes that while on a shopping trip long, long ago this puppy was precariously placed hanging over the check out counter. I saw it while sitting in my stroller and I wanted it. My Mom said no, but my Father bought it anyways. It was a favorite of mine through elementary school. And now it has found a new owner who loves it. Grandpa Mc will be happy to hear that.

After nap today we are off to the Bacon Party. Yep I said Bacon Party, one of my co-workers has thrown a home smoked/cured bacon party for a few years now. So we all get together, enjoy some BLT's and the families play in the yard, while the child free folks play beer pong and listen to the band late into the night. Should be a good time and beautiful weather.
